Obsidian, an exotic, highly sought after form of naturally-occurring volcanic glass, formed from lava, as an extrusive igneous rock.
Obsidian mostly forms in pitch black although it can also be brown or green, sometimes joining in swirls of color. Trace elements can also result in blue, orange, red or yellow or translucent obsidian. Basically, it’s a natural stone with no two surface designs alike.
Although extremely similar in color, please understand, the product image above is from a single piece and any pattern depicted is unique to this piece, your piece will have its own characteristics of swirls or patterns.
The Obsidian Stone Luxury Cigar Ashtray weighs a whopping 2 pounds and 4oz! Measures at 71/8 in length and 4 inches in width. It is intended as a personal cigar ashtray with one V style cigar rest.
