What is a Cigar Dagger?
Cigar Dagger is our brand name. We specialize in creating some of the most unique and stylish characters of Cigar Nubbers or Picks, the ultimate Cigar tool to fully enjoy your smoke to the end, the nub. Cigar nubbers, as they are referred to the most, are sharp pointed tools used to pierce through the last two inches of a cigar, allowing you to smoke your cigar more comfortably and without the risk of burning your fingers. Considering that the nub is arguably one of the best parts to enjoy, a Nubber made by Cigar Dagger is a vital tool for any cigar aficionado or enthusiast.
Can a Cigar Dagger Nubber be used as a poker or draw tool?
Yes! Our Cigar Dagger nubbers can also be used as cigar pokers or cigar draw tools. Every so often, cigar smokers feel frustration over a tightly rolled cigar (tight draw). Use our two-in-one cigar tool to poke a hole or two through your cap area to space out the tightly rolled tobacco leaves.
What materials does Cigar Dagger use to make their nubbers?
Our Cigar Nubbers consist of a food-grade stainless steel core pin, along with an array of other elements that vary between the design of each item. Materials used in our Cigar Nubbers include .925 sterling silver, brass, semi-precious gemstones, crystal, wood, bone, and many more. Please see product descriptions for pertinent details regarding materials used in each specific design.
How do I clean my Cigar Nubber?
Because our nubbers use a variety of materials, we advise that you wipe them down using only a warm damp cloth. To remove any residue from the stainless steel point, use warm water and a soft sponge. To remove any burn marks from the stainless steel point, use warm water and a course sponge pad. For best results, cleaning your point should be done after every use, please do not allow the residue to cake on and dry as it’s then harder to remove. (Personally, we like the vintage burnt look on our nubbers)
DO NOT run under water or place in dishwasher. Store your Cigar Dagger brand nubbers as you would any other cigar accessory.
How fast do you ship?
All our Cigar Nubbers are handmade but we do have inventory. We typically ship within 1-3 business days, but depending on the number of orders at any given time, some items can take up to 5 days to ship. Please note, shipping times promised by third party carriers such as USPS or UPS are on top of our processing times. For example, if you choose 2 day priority mail shipping, it’s on top of our 1-3 business day processing time. However, in most cases, we ship out within 1 and 2 days.
